  • 5 tbsp Co-op plain flour
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 3 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 12 slices chorizo
  • 4 Co-op cod fillets
  • 4 Co-op Irresistible brioche burger buns
  • 4 tbsp light mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled into ribbons
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Handful rocket leaves


  1. Put the flour and paprika on a plate, season, then mix
  2. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the chorizo slices for 1 minute, turning once
  3. Remove from the pan and set aside
  4. Coat the cod fillets in the spiced flour, then fry for 2 mins on each side until golden and crisp
  5. Remove from the pan and drain on kitchen paper
  6. Halve and toast the brioche buns
  7. Mix the mayonnaise with the chilli sauce, then spread on the bases of the buns
  8. To serve, fill the buns with the cod, topped with the cucumber, avocado, chorizo and rocket
