  • 6 Co-op Truly Irresistible British pork sausages
  • 700g Maris Piper potatoes, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 1 large onion, peeled and sliced
  • 40g unsalted butter
  • 40ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 3 heaped tsp. Co-op gravy granules
  • 1 heaped tsp. of English mustard (optional)

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas 6
  2. Pop the sausages in a roasting tin and into the oven
  3. After 15 minutes turn the sausages over and add the onions
  4. Cook for 10-15 minutes more until the sausages are brown and the onions are golden
  5. To make your mash, boil the potatoes in plenty of water until they're nice and tender
  6. Drain and mash with the butter and milk until nice and smooth
  7. Whisk the gravy granules with 200ml boiling water and the mustard, if you fancy it
  8. Serve the onions piled on top of the mash and lots of lovely gravy
