Ingredients
- 100g Co-op unsalted butter, softened
- 50g golden caster sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 150g Co-op plain flour
- 25g cornflour
- Pinch of baking powder
Method
- Heat the oven to 180°C/fan 160°C/Gas 4
- Cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla
- Add flour, cornflour and baking powder and mix together.Make into a ball and then flatten on the baking paper into a 20cm round
- Using a knife, lightly score out 8 triangles
- Prick all over with a fork for decoration, and sprinkle with a little extra sugar
- Bake for 15-20 mins, until lightly golden
