Ingredients
- For the wedges:
- 4 potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp paprika
- For the steak:
- 2 sirloin steaks
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- For the salad dressing:
- 1 tsp Co-op Truly Irresistible garlic oil
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- To serve, 70g rocket and baby leaf salad
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas 6
- Put the potato wedges into a roasting dish, add the oil and paprika and mix to coat the wedges. Roast for 50 minutes, until golden, turning once
- Brush the steaks with a little oil
- Heat a heavy based pan until hot, fry the steaks (Rare 4-6 minutes turning every 2 minutes Medium rare 6-8 minutes turning every 2 minutes Well done 8+ minutes turning every 2 minutes) then rest them on a warm plate for 5-10 minutes
- Drizzle the garlic oil and lemon juice over the salad and serve alongside the steak, and wedges
