Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped, or 1 tsp dried
- 1 tbsp Co-op plain flour
Method
- Boil the potatoes in a large pan for 8-10 mins
- Remove from the heat and drain
- When cool enough to handle, grate into a bowl. Stir in the onion, chives and flour
- Firmly shape the mixture into 12 'tots' and shallow fry in 200ml oil for 4-5 mins, until crisp and golden
- Drain on kitchen towel and serve immediately
