Co-op Funeralcare, Baillieston
134 Main Street, Baillieston, G69 6AE
We're a funeral home in the heart of Baillieston, serving the communities of Garrowhill, Barrachnie, Broomhouse and Springboig since 2000. Our clients describe us as "patient, kind, and compassionate". These are words we live by every day as we strive to give everyone who comes to us the best experience possible when arranging a funeral.
Our strong relationships with local churches and crematoriums like Baillieston St Andrew's Church, St Bridget's Catholic Church and St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church mean we can help you plan the kind of funeral that feels right for you. It could be religious, non-religious, a celebration or something more traditional, we will be guided by you and together we will make it happen.
A funeral arrangement meeting with us is a conversation over a cup of tea as we decide and arrange things together. When you need us, call us or come and see us on Main Street.

View funeral notices and leave a tribute or donation in their memory
On the day of a cremation service, our team will bring your loved one into the service venue — such as Baillieston St Andrew's Church or St Bridget's Catholic Church — where family and friends gather to pay their respects before we travel together in the funeral cortège to the crematorium. We will guide your family through every part of the day so that nothing feels uncertain, from the order of service through to what happens after the committal, and we can help you arrange music, readings, or any personal touches that feel right.
When someone you love has died, you do not need to have everything figured out before you call us — our team at the Baillieston funeral home is here from the very first moment, and we can arrange to bring your loved one into our care as soon as you are ready. Whether it is the middle of the night or the morning after, we will talk you through the immediate steps including registering the death at a local register office and gathering any paperwork, so nothing feels overwhelming.
We regularly work with local churches including St Bridget's Catholic Church and St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church to arrange religious funeral services that honour your faith and your loved one's wishes. Our team on Main Street will liaise directly with the clergy and help co-ordinate every detail, so your family can focus on being together rather than managing the practicalities.
Yes, our team covers Garrowhill and the surrounding areas including Barrachnie, Broomhouse, Springboig, and Shettleston, so you are well within reach of our Baillieston funeral home on Main Street. We are here to support your family however we can, whether that means coming to you at home or welcoming you into our arrangement room to talk through everything at your own pace.
There is street parking available on and around Main Street in Baillieston, though please be aware that some nearby spaces are payable. Our funeral home is fully wheelchair accessible with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so every member of your family is welcome and comfortable when you come in to make arrangements.
