We work with Skipton Crematorium and Burnley Crematorium, and we will help your family decide which feels right depending on your preferences and circumstances. On the day itself, our team will guide you through everything — from accompanying your loved one to the crematorium to supporting you and your family throughout the service — so you are never left uncertain about what comes next.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you call us — our team at the Barnoldswick funeral home on Skipton Road is here to help from the very first moment, and we can arrange to bring your father into our care as soon as you are ready. Once he is with us, we will take the time to sit with your family, talk through what needs to happen, and handle the paperwork and practicalities so that you can focus on being together.
We have longstanding relationships with many of the churches and places of worship in the area, including St Mary-le-Ghyll, Holy Trinity, Bracewell Church of England, St Joseph's Catholic Church, St Andrew's Methodist Church, and the Independent Methodist Church. Whether your family's faith is at the centre of the service or you are looking for a non-religious ceremony altogether, we will work closely with you to arrange something that truly reflects the person who has died.
Yes, our team on Skipton Road is here for families across Barnoldswick and the surrounding areas, including Earby and communities throughout North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, and East Lancashire. Wherever you are in the area, we can come to you and take care of everything from the very beginning, so your family does not have to worry about distance or logistics.
There is street parking on the side streets close to our funeral home on Skipton Road, and a free public car park roughly a five to six minute walk away if those spaces are taken. The building is fully accessible at ground floor level, with a wheelchair-accessible arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so every member of your family can be with you when you come to make arrangements.
