Yes, our team on Hamilton Road serves families across a wide area of North Lanarkshire, including Holytown, Mossend, Newarthill, Carfin and New Stevenston. Whether you are nearby or a little further afield in Uddingston or Blantyre, we will come to you and support your family every step of the way.
Our team has many years of experience caring for families from the Travelling community, as well as Catholic families who may wish to hold a service at Holy Family Chapel or Sacred Heart Chapel here in Bellshill. We also arrange Humanist and Chinese funerals, and we will always take time to understand what matters most to your family so that the service truly honours your loved one.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you call us — our team is here around the clock, and bringing your father into our care on Hamilton Road can happen as soon as you are ready. Once he is with us, we will gently walk you through the necessary paperwork, including registering the death, at a pace that suits your family. There is no pressure to make every decision immediately, and we will be beside you for as long as you need.
On the day of a cremation, our team will collect your loved one and lead the procession to whichever venue your family has chosen, such as Bellshill Central Church or our own on-site service room which holds up to 65 people. The service itself — whether led by a minister, celebrant or humanist officiant — typically lasts around 30 to 45 minutes, and we will have spoken with you beforehand to make sure every detail reflects the person who died. Afterwards, we can guide you through what to expect regarding ashes and any memorial arrangements.
We have 20 on-site parking spaces on Hamilton Road, including designated disabled bays, and the arrangement room and service area are both on the ground floor with full wheelchair access and an accessible toilet. If you are travelling with a larger group, there is also a free car park on Glebe Street a short distance away. We want every member of your family to be able to attend comfortably, and our team is happy to advise on access arrangements when you call.
