We're here for families across the local area, including Little Common, Cooden, Sidley, Ninfield, and Battle, so wherever you are, our team on Devonshire Road can come to you. Distance is never a barrier when a family needs support, and we'll handle all the practical arrangements from the moment you get in touch. Please don't hesitate to call us - we're available around the clock, every day of the year.
We know the hours after someone you love has died can feel completely overwhelming, which is why our team is available day and night - just call us and we'll guide you through what needs to happen next. We can arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care at our funeral home on Devonshire Road, giving your family time and space to breathe before any further decisions need to be made. We'll also help you understand the paperwork involved, including the medical certificate and registering the death, so nothing falls through the cracks.
We have over a century of experience arranging funerals for families of all beliefs and none, and we'll always take our lead from what matters most to you. Whether you'd like a traditional church service at one of the local churches in Bexhill or the surrounding villages, a secular celebration of life, or something that reflects a particular cultural tradition, our team will work with you to shape every detail. No two funerals we arrange are the same, and that's exactly as it should be.
There is free short-stay on-street parking close to our funeral home on Devonshire Road, and if you need longer, pay-as-you-park spaces are available at the De La Warr Pavilion on the seafront, just a short walk away. Our funeral home is fully accessible at ground floor level, with a ground floor arrangement room, wheelchair access throughout, and an accessible toilet, so every member of your family is welcome and comfortable. Please let us know in advance if anyone in your party has particular access needs and we'll make sure everything is ready for you.
We work with three crematoriums depending on your family's wishes and circumstances: Hastings, Eastbourne, and Wealden. Our team will talk you through each option, including what to expect on the day itself - from the arrival of the procession to the time allowed for the service and any music or readings you'd like included. We'll make sure nothing feels unfamiliar or rushed, and that your family feels supported from the moment you arrive.
