Our Billingham funeral home is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ground-floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, meaning every member of your family can be comfortable during what may be a lengthy conversation about arrangements. Our team, who have been serving families from these premises since 1990, will always make sure you feel at ease from the moment you arrive.
Our team is available around the clock, so you can call us at any time and we will guide you calmly through everything that needs to happen in those first hours. When you are ready, we can arrange for your father to be brought into our care and taken to our chapel of rest on Station Road in Billingham, where he will be looked after with complete dignity. There is no pressure to make any arrangements immediately — we will simply make sure he is safe in our care and give you the space to gather your family before sitting down together.
We arrange funerals across all faiths and none, and our team is very familiar with Billingham Baptist Church as a welcoming venue for families of many different backgrounds. Whether your family has a particular religious tradition, prefers a non-religious humanist ceremony, or is looking for something in between, we will help you shape a service that genuinely reflects the person who has died.
Yes, our team serves families across Wynyard, Wolviston, Cowpen Bewley and the wider Stockton and Hartlepool areas, as well as Wear Valley. From our funeral home on Station Road in Billingham, we can come to you wherever you are, so distance need not be a worry during what is already a difficult time.
On the day of a cremation, our team will collect your family and accompany the person who has died from wherever they are resting, ensuring everything runs to time and that you feel supported throughout. We can arrange the service at a local venue such as St Aidan's or St Cuthbert's before the cremation itself takes place, giving the gathering a meaningful setting. We will talk you through every stage in advance so there are no surprises, and our team is with you from the moment you leave until the committal is complete.
