Yes, our team at Wylie & Lochhead is here to support families across Kirkintilloch and the surrounding area, including Bishopbriggs, Cadder, Torrance, and Springburn. Whether you are close to the funeral home in The Triangle Shopping Centre or a little further afield in Glasgow, we will come to you and guide your family through every step of the arrangements.
We know that practical details matter enormously when you are already coping with so much, so we want to reassure you that parking is straightforward — you can use the Morrisons car park adjacent to The Triangle Shopping Centre for up to three hours, free of charge. Our funeral home is fully accessible: the arrangement room is on the ground floor, and we have both wheelchair access and an accessible toilet, so every member of your family can be comfortable during what can be a lengthy and emotional meeting.
Our team at Wylie & Lochhead has experience supporting families with a wide range of religious and non-religious ceremonies, from traditional Christian services to humanist celebrations and everything in between. During your arrangement meeting, we will listen carefully to what matters most to your family and work with your faith community or chosen officiant to ensure the service truly reflects your loved one's life and beliefs. We are always happy to discuss your wishes in person at our arrangement room in The Triangle Shopping Centre, Glasgow.
You can call us at any time, day or night, and our team will be ready to help — there is no need to wait until morning. One of the most pressing practical steps is arranging for your loved one to be cared for, and we can come to you, whether that is a family home in Bishopbriggs, a care home in Springburn, or a hospital in Glasgow, to bring them into our care at the chapel of rest. The paperwork, including the death certificate and registration, can feel overwhelming, but we will walk you through exactly what is needed and when, so nothing is missed.
On the day of a cremation, our team will collect your loved one and bring them to the service venue, where family and friends gather to say goodbye before the cremation takes place. The service itself can be as personal as you wish — whether that means music, readings, or a moment of quiet reflection — and we will talk everything through with you during your arrangement meeting at our funeral home near The Triangle Shopping Centre in Glasgow. Afterwards, we can advise you on the options for your loved one's ashes, from scattering in a meaningful place to a permanent memorial.
