Yes, our Blackpool Funeralcare team on Bispham Road is right on your doorstep and we regularly care for families across Bispham, Layton, Grange Park and North Shore. Whether you are close to the seafront or further inland, our team will come to you at any time of day or night. We are here to support your family from the very first phone call through to the day of the funeral and beyond.
We work with a number of local churches and venues, including St Chad's in Poulton for Church of England services and St Bernadette's for Roman Catholic funerals, so there is no need for the service to take place at our funeral home if you would prefer a church setting. We also have our own on-site service room here on Bispham Road, which can accommodate around 50 people, offering a quieter and more intimate option for families who would rather not travel. Whatever your faith, belief or preference - including non-religious and humanist ceremonies - our team will help you plan something that feels right.
We have three dedicated client parking spaces directly on site, and there is also street parking available on Bispham Road itself for family members and friends attending an arrangement or a visit to our chapel of rest. The Aldi car park nearby provides an additional option, though please be aware this is limited to two hours. Our funeral home is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so please do let us know if anyone in your family has any particular needs and we will make sure everything is ready for you.
You do not need to have everything figured out straight away - the most important thing is simply to call us, and our team on Bispham Road is available around the clock, every day of the year. We can come to bring your loved one into our care from wherever they have died, whether that is at home near North Shore, in hospital, or elsewhere, and we will explain the paperwork and next steps gently as you are ready to hear them. There is no pressure to make any decisions immediately; we will move at your pace.
We use both Carleton Crematorium and Lytham Park Crematorium, and our team will talk you through which might suit your family best in terms of location, timing and personal preference. On the day itself, we take care of every detail - from the procession leaving our Bispham Road funeral home to guiding your family through the service at the crematorium. We want the day to feel as calm and meaningful as possible, so we will walk you through exactly what to expect beforehand.
