Yes, our funeral home on Warren Road in Woodingdean serves Saltdean, along with Rottingdean, Ovingdean, Lewes, Burgess Hill and the surrounding communities. We have been supporting families across this part of East Sussex since 1990, so wherever you are in the area, our team is here for you. Please do get in touch and we will talk you through everything at whatever pace feels right for your family.
Reach out to us as soon as you feel ready, day or night, and our team will take things from there, including collecting your loved one into our care from wherever they died, whether that is at home, in hospital or in a care setting near Woodingdean. We will talk you through the paperwork and registration process step by step, so nothing feels overwhelming. Families often tell us that simply making that first call brings a sense of relief, and being described as patient, kind and compassionate is something we take to heart every single day.
We arrange all kinds of funerals, from traditional religious services at places such as St Margaret's Church in Rottingdean to entirely non-religious celebrations of life held at a crematorium chapel or another venue of your choosing. What matters most to us is that the service truly reflects the person who died and feels meaningful to everyone gathered. Our team will listen carefully and help you shape something that is just right, with no assumptions made about faith or tradition.
There is a car park directly opposite our funeral home on Warren Road that offers up to four hours of free parking, and there is also free on-street parking nearby, so you should have no trouble finding a space when you visit us. Our arrangement room comfortably seats up to seven people, which means close family members can sit together and be part of the conversation. We want your visit to feel as calm and unhurried as possible, and we will always make time for every question your family has.
We work with three crematoriums, Downs, Woodvale and Wealden, and we will help your family choose the one that best suits your wishes, whether that is location, size or the style of service you have in mind. On the day, our team will guide the procession and be with you throughout, so you can focus entirely on being present for one another. We can also arrange services at local venues such as the Church of the Holy Cross in Woodingdean before the committal, if that is something your family would like.
