Co-op Funeralcare, Cambuslang
178 Main Street, Cambuslang, G72 7EN
Your local funeral home in Cambuslang has been serving the community since 2000. When you need a professional funeral service and a friendly local face, speak to us and you'll be looked after by people who know and love your local area. Whether you're in Blantyre or Rutherglen, we're here when you need us.
We will be led by you in making the funeral arrangements. We will listen as you tell us about who they were and what feels right for them. Then we will use our established relationships with local places of worship and crematoriums in the area, like St Bride's RC Church, Cambuslang Parish Church and St Cadoc's to create the funeral that feels right.
A funeral arrangement meeting with us is a conversation over a cup of tea as we decide and arrange things together. When you need us, call us or come and see us on Main Street.

Yes, our team serves families across Blantyre, Rutherglen, Daldowie, Linn and the wider South Lanarkshire area, as well as Cambuslang itself. Wherever you are in the surrounding area, we can come to you and guide your family through every step of the arrangements. Please do get in touch and we will talk through how we can help.
Absolutely — we work regularly with St Bride's RC Church and are experienced in supporting families who want a traditional Catholic funeral mass as part of the service. Our team understands the order of a requiem mass and will liaise directly with the parish on your behalf to coordinate everything. We can also arrange services at Cambuslang Parish Church, St Cadoc's or any other venue that matters to your family.
When you are ready, call our team on Main Street and we will come to collect your loved one and bring him into our care, day or night. There is no need to have paperwork in order before you call us — we will walk your family through the registration of the death and all the documentation at a pace that suits you. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and fully accessible, so please do not worry about practicalities when you come in to see us.
On the day, our team will bring your loved one into the service, whether that is held here at our funeral home on Main Street or at a local venue such as Cambuslang Parish Church, and the service will follow whatever format your family has chosen — music, readings, tributes or a period of quiet reflection. We will then travel in procession to the crematorium, where the committal takes place, and our team will remain with you throughout so no one in your family has to manage the day alone. Afterwards we will talk you through the next steps, including the care of your loved one's ashes.
We are on Main Street in the heart of Cambuslang, and while parking can be a little tricky on a busy main road, there is limited free parking directly outside and street parking is available nearby. The funeral home is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so every member of your family can come in comfortably. If you are unsure where to find us, we are a short distance from Cambuslang Parish Church and our team is always happy to talk you in over the phone.
