Yes, our team at Oliver Evans covers Whitland and the surrounding area, so we are well placed to support your family wherever you are. We also serve communities across Carmarthen, Llandysul and Newcastle Emlyn, meaning families throughout this part of west Wales can call on us. Whatever your location, we will come to you and guide you through every step.
We regularly arrange services at St Peter's Church and St Mary's RC Church in the local area, and we are just as experienced in organising non-religious and humanist funerals. Our team will listen carefully to what your family wants and help shape a service that genuinely reflects the life of the person who died, whether that involves faith, a particular tradition, or none at all. There is no single right way to mark a life, and we will support whatever feels true to yours.
Whenever you are ready to call us, our team at Oliver Evans on Priory Street is here to help, and we are available at any time of day or night. We can come and bring the person who has died into our care straightaway, which often brings families a sense of relief during an overwhelming time. From there, we will talk you through the paperwork and next steps at a pace that suits you, so nothing feels rushed.
We work with Narberth, Llanelli and Aberystwyth crematoriums, and we will help you choose whichever feels right for your family. On the day, our team will lead the procession to the crematorium and remain with you throughout the service, making sure everything runs as you have planned. We take care of all the practical arrangements so that you can focus on being together as a family and saying goodbye in the way that feels most meaningful.
We have 12 on-site parking spaces at our Priory Street funeral home, and there is also street parking nearby as well as a paid car park within easy reach. The building is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so everyone in your family can be comfortable during visits. Our service chapel can hold up to 50 people if needed, making it a practical option for larger gatherings right here on site.
