Absolutely, we serve families throughout Staveley and the surrounding communities. Our Newbold funeral home has been part of the local area since 2010, and we cover Staveley, Inkersall, Old Whittington, and Mastin Moor. We know the local churches well, including St John the Baptist in Staveley, and we work regularly with both Chesterfield and District Crematorium and Amber Valley Crematorium. Our team is here to support you with the same care and attention we give to all families we serve.
We've been part of the Newbold community since 2010, which has given us over a decade to really get to know the area and the families we serve. Our funeral home on Newbold Road has a peaceful chapel of rest where you can spend time with your loved one in private, and our team has built relationships with local churches, crematoriums and communities across Inkersall, Staveley and beyond. That local knowledge means we can guide you through every detail of the funeral with real understanding of what matters to families in this area.
We work with both Chesterfield and District Crematorium and Amber Valley Crematorium, and we'll help you choose the most appropriate option for your family. Our team will coordinate all the arrangements with the crematorium, including timing, music and any specific requests you have. We'll be there on the day to guide you through what happens, and we'll make sure everything runs smoothly so you can focus on saying goodbye to your loved one.
The first step is simply to give us a call, and we'll talk you through everything that needs to happen next. If your loved one has passed away at home, we'll come to bring them into our care when you're ready. If they've died in hospital or a care home, we'll liaise with the staff there and arrange collection. Once they're with us at our Newbold Road funeral home, you can visit them in our chapel of rest whenever you'd like, and we'll begin making the funeral arrangements at a pace that suits you.
We arrange funerals to reflect whatever beliefs and values mattered to your loved one, whether that's a traditional church service, a non-religious ceremony or something more personal. We work regularly with local churches including St John's in Newbold, St John the Baptist in Staveley and Central Methodist Church, and we're equally experienced in arranging humanist and civil ceremonies. Our funeral directors will take time to understand what feels right for your family and make all the arrangements accordingly.
