Our funeral home on Colinton Road is well placed to support families across Oxgangs, Craiglockhart, Colinton Mains, Slateford and Morningside. Whether you are close by or a little further afield, our team will come to you and guide you through every step at whatever pace feels right for your family.
We are very familiar with local venues including Craiglockhart Parish Church and Colinton Mains Church, and we work closely with clergy and celebrants of many traditions. Whether your family has a particular faith, follows a specific cultural practice, or would prefer a completely non-religious ceremony, our team will make sure the service reflects what is most meaningful to you.
You do not need to have everything worked out before you call us — we are here around the clock, and many families reach out to us from Morningside or Colinton Mains simply because they do not know where to begin. Our team can arrange to bring your loved one into our care on Colinton Road, and once that is in hand, we will sit down with you to talk through paperwork, decisions and next steps in a way that never feels rushed.
There is paid street parking directly outside our funeral home on Colinton Road, and we also have a small number of free parking spaces down the side of the building, which can be helpful when you are visiting with family. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building is fully wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet available, so every member of your family is able to be with you when it matters most.
We work with Mortonhall, Warriston and Seafield crematoriums, and we will help you choose the one that feels most fitting for your family's wishes. On the day, our team will travel with your loved one and ensure everything is arranged ahead of your arrival, so you can focus entirely on being together and saying goodbye in the way that matters most to you.
