Not at all. Our Cramlington funeral home on Forum Way serves families across a wide area, including Seaton Burn, Wideopen, Annitsford, Dudley, Seghill, and East Hartford, as well as Cramlington itself. Wherever you are in the surrounding villages, our team can come to you and support you through every step of the arrangements.
We regularly arrange services at local churches and other venues, and St John The Baptist RC Church in Annitsford is one we work with closely. We also hold services at St Nicholas Church, St Paul's RC Church, and Doxford Place Methodist Church, so whether your family has a particular faith tradition or you simply have a church that meant something to your loved one, we will do our best to accommodate that.
Our team at the Cramlington funeral home on Forum Way is available to take your call at any time, day or night, and the most important thing to know is that you do not need to have everything figured out before you ring us. We can arrange to bring your loved one into our care, talk you through any immediate paperwork, and help you think through the next steps at whatever pace feels right for your family. There is no pressure to make every decision at once — we will guide you gently through it all.
There is on-site parking directly at our funeral home on Forum Way, and right next door the large free car park at Manor Walks Shopping Centre means there is always space nearby, even if we have several families visiting on the same day. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building is fully wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet available, so please do not hesitate to let us know about any specific access needs when you call and we will make sure everything is ready for your family.
We work with three crematoriums depending on your family's wishes and location: Cowpen Crematorium in Blyth, Whitley Bay Crematorium, and West Road Crematorium in Newcastle. On the day, our team will escort your loved one from our funeral home on Forum Way to whichever crematorium you have chosen, and we will remain with you throughout the service to ensure everything runs as it should. We are happy to talk you through what to expect so the day holds no unnecessary surprises.
