Co-op Funeralcare, Dawlish
Scala House, Lawn Terrace, Dawlish, EX7 9PY
We're proud to have served our community in Dawlish since 1960. In that time, our funeral home has helped countless families, offering the practical guidance and advice they need to arrange a fitting send off for a loved one. Whether you live in Dawlish or surrounding areas like Starcross, Holcombe, Dawlish Warren or Ashcombe, no one knows the area and its people better than our team.
Over the years our team have built strong connections with local funeral celebrants, religious leaders, and many places of worship. This means we can help support you in arranging the funeral that feels personal and right for you and your family. If you're not sure, we can help with inspiration and creative ways to remember them. We're also known for helping to arrange Humanist funerals, too.
If you need us, call or visit us in person on Lawn Terrace. We'll be here to welcome you from the first conversation and take the time to understand your unique needs and support you through every step.

Our Dawlish funeral home on Lawn Terrace serves families across a wide area, including Starcross, Holcombe, Dawlish Warren, Ashcombe, and Kenton. Wherever you are in the surrounding area, our team can come to you, and we will guide you through every arrangement from the very beginning.
We have two on-site parking spaces at our Lawn Terrace funeral home, and there are paid car parks both opposite us and close by, so you should find somewhere to park without difficulty. The building is fully wheelchair accessible with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so every member of your family is able to visit us comfortably during what we know is an incredibly difficult time.
We have supported Catholic, Church of England, and Humanist families in Dawlish and the surrounding area since 1960, and we understand how important it is to honour the beliefs and wishes of the person who has died. Our team will work closely with you to make sure the service truly reflects those values, whether that means liaising with a priest, a minister, or a Humanist celebrant.
We work with Exeter, Torquay, and East Devon crematoriums, and we will help you choose the one that feels right for your family, whether that means staying local or travelling a little further. On the day, our team will lead the procession and remain with you throughout, making sure everything runs smoothly and that your loved one is cared for with the greatest respect from our funeral home in Dawlish right through to the service itself.
Please do not hesitate to call us at any time, day or night, as our team is always available to help from the very first moment. We can arrange for your father to be brought into our care from anywhere in the Dawlish area, and once he is with us at our funeral home on Lawn Terrace, we will talk you gently through the paperwork and next steps at whatever pace suits your family.
