Yes, our Arbroath Road funeral home is here for families across Monifieth, and we regularly support families throughout the surrounding area including Carnoustie, Broughty Ferry, Tayport, and across Dundee itself. Wherever you are, our team will come to you, so distance need never be a worry at such a difficult time.
Our team at Dundee Arbroath Road is experienced in arranging funerals that honour a wide range of faiths and personal beliefs, whether that means working with a minister, priest, imam, or a celebrant for a non-religious service. We take time to listen carefully to what matters most to your family, so that the funeral genuinely reflects the life that was lived. Please speak to us about any specific traditions or wishes and we will do everything we can to accommodate them.
Our Dundee Arbroath Road team is available around the clock, every day of the year, so you can call us at any hour and someone will answer. We can arrange for your mother to be brought into our care as soon as you are ready, and there is no pressure to make any further decisions until you feel able. Once she is with us, we can talk you through the paperwork, including the medical certificate and registration of the death in Dundee, at a pace that suits you.
We work closely with both Dundee Crematorium and Parkgrove Crematorium, and our team will guide you through every detail so you feel fully prepared. On the day itself, we take care of all the arrangements, from the route of the cortège to liaising with crematorium staff, so your family can focus entirely on saying goodbye. We will talk you through timings, what to expect when you arrive, and any wishes you have for music or readings, ensuring the service reflects your loved one as an individual.
Our chapel of rest at the Arbroath Road funeral home provides a calm, private space where you and your family can visit your loved one and spend time together before the funeral. We have on-site parking available, so you do not need to worry about finding a space when you come to see us, and the building is fully wheelchair accessible. Our team, which has been part of the Dundee community since 2007, will make sure you feel welcome and unhurried during every visit.
