We work with Dunfermline Crematorium as our closest option, and we can also arrange services at Kirkcaldy, Falkirk, or Stirlingshire crematoriums depending on your family's wishes and circumstances. On the day, our team accompanies your loved one throughout, and we will talk you through exactly what to expect at whichever crematorium you choose so nothing feels unfamiliar or overwhelming. Many families find it helpful to visit Dunfermline Crematorium beforehand, and we are happy to arrange that.
You can call our Dewar Street funeral home at any time, day or night, and someone from our team will answer and guide you through what needs to happen next. We can arrange to collect your loved one from home, from a hospital such as the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, or from wherever they died, at whatever hour you need us. Paperwork and practicalities can feel daunting in those first hours, but you do not need to know anything in advance - we will explain every step as we go.
We have longstanding experience arranging services at Dunfermline Abbey and at St. Margaret's RC Church, and we work regularly with families from the Chinese community as well as Jehovah's Witness and Baptist congregations. Every funeral we arrange reflects the beliefs, culture, and traditions that matter most to the person who has died and the family they leave behind. Our team will listen carefully and make sure every detail honours your loved one in the right way.
Yes, our team on Dewar Street serves families across a wide area, including Dalgety Bay, Aberdour, Inverkeithing, and many of the smaller communities in between such as Crossgates, Kingseat, and Culross. Whether you are close to the Firth of Forth or further inland towards Saline or Oakley, we will come to you. Distance is never a barrier when a family needs our support.
There is street parking directly outside our funeral home on Dewar Street and on the neighbouring streets, with no maximum time limit, so you never need to feel rushed during what can be an emotional visit. Our building is fully wheelchair accessible with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so every member of the family can be comfortable and present. We have been welcoming families here since the 1940s, and making sure everyone feels at ease from the moment they arrive has always mattered to us.
