Yes, we have a chapel of rest here on Bexley Road where you are welcome to visit and spend time with the person who died in a quiet, private setting. Our funeral home is also fully wheelchair accessible, so please do not hesitate to let us know of any access needs when you get in touch, we want every family to feel comfortable and at ease when they come to us.
We work with a range of local venues including Our Lady of The Angels, Christchurch Erith, and St Paul's Northumberland Heath, so a faith-led service is something we can arrange with care and respect. Equally, if your family would prefer a non-religious or humanist farewell, we will help you shape something that truly reflects the life of the person who died.
You can call us at any time, day or night, and our team will come to bring the person who died into our care from wherever they are, whether that is at home, a hospital, or a care home near Erith. Once that is taken care of, we will sit with you, explain the paperwork such as the medical certificate and death registration, and make sure nothing feels rushed or overwhelming.
Yes, absolutely our team on Bexley Road is here for families across Belvedere, Barnehurst, Bexleyheath, and Erith itself. Wherever you are in the local area, we will come to you and guide you through every step at whatever pace feels right for your family.
We regularly work with Eltham Crematorium, Kemnal Park, and Thames View Crematorium, so we can help you choose the setting that feels most fitting. On the day itself, our team will take care of all the behind-the-scenes arrangements so that you and your family can focus entirely on being together and honouring the person who died.
