We arrange services at both Exeter & Devon Crematorium and East Devon Crematorium, depending on what works best for your family. On the day, our team will be with you every step of the way, from collecting your loved one to guiding you through the service itself. Many families choose to hold a service in our own chapel here on Cowick Street before travelling to the crematorium, which gives you more time and privacy with those closest to you.
The first step is simply to give us a call. Our team will talk you through everything gently and without any pressure, families often tell us we're patient and kind, which matters enormously at such a difficult time. We'll arrange to bring your loved one into our care, and then sit down with you to plan the funeral together. You're welcome to visit us on Cowick Street to talk things through in person, and you can spend time with your loved one in our chapel of rest whenever you need to.
Absolutely. We arrange all kinds of services, whether you'd like a traditional church funeral at somewhere like St Thomas Parish Church, a crematorium ceremony, or a non-religious celebration of life. Our funeral arrangers take time to understand what mattered to your loved one and what feels right for your family. We've been serving the Exeter community since the 2000s, so we're experienced in creating meaningful services that truly honour the person you've lost.
We serve families across Exeter and the surrounding communities, including Ide, Cranbrook, Exminster and Kennford. Our team knows these areas well and we work closely with local churches like St Thomas Parish Church and St Michael & All Angels in Alphington. Whether your family is in the city centre or one of the villages nearby, we're here to help you arrange a funeral that feels right for your loved one.
Yes, we have a beautiful service venue here at our Cowick Street funeral home. It's a private, peaceful space where you can hold the entire service before going to Exeter & Devon Crematorium or East Devon Crematorium, or you might choose to hold the whole funeral here with us. Having our own chapel means there's no rush, you have the time and space you need to say goodbye properly, surrounded by the people who matter most.
