There is a large free car park at the Tesco supermarket very close to our funeral home on Penny's Walk, which makes visiting us straightforward for family members travelling from across Ferndown and beyond. Our building is fully accessible, with step-free access, a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so everyone in your family can join us comfortably when making arrangements.
Our team at the Ferndown funeral home on Penny's Walk is available around the clock, so you can call us at any time of the day or night and we will talk you through what needs to happen next. We can arrange for your father to be brought into our care, and once you are ready, we will sit down with you in one of our ground floor arrangement rooms to work through the practical details and any paperwork together, at a pace that suits you.
We are experienced in arranging all kinds of services, from traditional Christian services held at local churches such as St Mark's Church or St Anthony's Church, to entirely non-religious and humanist celebrations of a life. Our team will take the time to understand what feels right for your family, and we can help you find an officiant whose approach fits the tone you are looking for.
Our Ferndown funeral home on Penny's Walk is well placed to help families across West Moors, and we also regularly support families in Verwood, Wimborne, Colehill, Stapehill, West Parley, St Leonards, St Ives, Kinson and the surrounding villages. Wherever you are in the area, our team will come to you and guide you through every step at whatever pace feels right for your family.
From our Ferndown funeral home we work with Poole Crematorium, Bournemouth Crematorium, New Forest Crematorium and Test Valley Crematorium, so your family has a genuine choice about where the cremation takes place. On the day, our team will lead the procession from the agreed meeting point, whether that is from home, from a church such as St Mary's Church in the local area, or from our funeral home itself, and we will be with you throughout to make sure everything runs smoothly.
