We have longstanding relationships with a number of local congregations, including St Gabriel's RC Church, Park Church, Orchard Hill Church and Mearnskirk Church, and we are experienced in arranging services that honour a wide range of faith traditions and personal beliefs. Whether your family follows a specific religious practice or prefers a more reflective, non-religious ceremony, our team will work closely with you to ensure the service truly reflects the life that was lived. We are here to listen first and then make it happen.
We are available around the clock, so please do not hesitate to call our Giffnock funeral home on Fenwick Road at any hour — day or night, someone from our team will answer and begin helping you straight away. One of the first things we will do is bring your loved one into our care, and our chapel of rest means he can be here with us in Giffnock while you take the time you need. We will also walk you through the necessary paperwork, including registering the death, so nothing feels overwhelming.
Yes, our Giffnock funeral home on Fenwick Road serves families across Newton Mearns, Thornliebank, Merrylee, Hurlet, Linn, Shawlands and the surrounding communities. Wherever you are in these areas, our team can come to you and guide you through every step of the arrangements. You are never too far from the care and support we can offer.
On the day of a cremation, our team will bring your loved one to the chosen venue — we work regularly with local churches such as Orchard Hill Church and Mearnskirk Church — before accompanying the family to the crematorium for the committal. The service itself can be as personal as you wish, with readings, music and tributes chosen by your family, and we will be with you throughout to make sure everything runs as you intended. Afterwards, we can advise you on the care of the cremated remains, whether you wish to scatter them somewhere meaningful or keep them close.
Parking is straightforward when you visit us on Fenwick Road — there is a free car park nearby, street parking in the area, and you are also welcome to use the railway station car park directly behind our funeral home. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building is fully wheelchair accessible, so there are no steps or barriers to worry about when you arrive. We want coming to see us to feel as easy as possible at what is already a very difficult time.
