Co-op Funeralcare, Glenrothes
Cos Lane, Glenrothes, KY7 4AH
Our funeral home in Glenrothes has been serving the local community since 1996. During that time, we've come to know and love our local area well. We cover areas throughout Glenrothes, including Thornton, Leslie, Kinglassie and Markinch. We're here to give you a friendly, reliable and sensitively planned funeral service at your time of need.
Our strong relationships with local churches and crematoriums like St Paul's, St Columba, St Ninian mean we can help you plan the kind of funeral that feels right for you. It could be religious, non-religious, a celebration or something more traditional, we will be guided by you and together we will make it happen.
A funeral arrangement meeting with us is a conversation over a cup of tea as we decide and arrange things together. When you need us, call us or come and see us on Cos Lane.

Yes, we have a peaceful chapel of rest here at our Glenrothes branch where you're welcome to visit your loved one in private for as long as you need. We also have our own service venue on site, so if you'd prefer to hold the funeral service here rather than at a church or crematorium, that's absolutely possible. Our team will make sure the space feels calm and personal, however you choose to say goodbye.
The first thing to do is give us a call, day or night, and we'll talk you through what happens next. If your loved one has passed away at home, we'll arrange to bring them into our care and then help you register the death with the local registrar. From there, we'll sit down with you to plan the funeral at a pace that feels right, covering everything from the service at St Columba or our own chapel to the committal at Kirkcaldy Crematorium.
We arrange services for families of all faiths and none. We work regularly with local churches including St Paul's RC Church, St Columba and St Ninian, and we're equally experienced in arranging humanist or non-religious ceremonies. Whatever reflects your loved one's beliefs and your family's wishes, our team will make sure every detail is handled with respect and care.
We work with Kirkcaldy Crematorium, Dunfermline Crematorium and Brewsterwells Crematorium, and we'll talk through which one suits your family best based on location and timing. Our team will coordinate everything with the crematorium staff, from booking the service time to making sure all the paperwork is in order. On the day, we'll be there with you to guide you through each step so nothing feels overwhelming.
Yes, absolutely. Our Glenrothes funeral home has been serving families throughout the area since 1996, and Markinch is very much part of our local community. We also cover Thornton, Leslie, Kinglassie and all areas throughout Glenrothes itself. Our team knows the local churches, crematoriums and burial grounds well, and we're here to help families right across this part of Fife with the same care and attention.
