On the day of a cremation, our team will bring your loved one to the chosen venue — we regularly work with St James' Church in Grimsby and other local churches before families travel on to the crematorium. We'll talk you through the timing of the service, how long everything takes, and what to expect from arrival to the committal, so there are no surprises on the day. Our funeral directors stay with your family throughout, making sure everything unfolds exactly as you'd want.
Yes, our team at Kettle on Granville Street serves families across Cleethorpes, Grimsby, Immingham, Holton-le-Clay, Tetney, and Killingholme. Wherever you are in the area, we can come to you and guide your family through every step of the arrangements. Distance is never a barrier to the care we provide.
You can call us at any time, day or night, and we'll come to collect your loved one from wherever they are, whether that's a home in Immingham, a hospital, or anywhere else we cover. Once your loved one is in our care at the Granville Street funeral home, we'll take the pressure off your family by explaining what paperwork needs to be done and in what order, including registering the death. There's no need to have everything figured out before you call — we'll walk you through it gently, at your own pace.
We have longstanding experience arranging funerals for Muslim, Jewish, Catholic, and Church of England families, and we work closely with venues including the Grimsby Islamic Centre and Old Clee Church to honour the traditions that matter to your family. Our team takes time to understand the religious requirements and timings that are important to you, whether that means swift arrangements in keeping with Islamic or Jewish custom or a more traditional church service. We're here to make sure every detail reflects your faith and your loved one's life.
There are four on-site parking spaces behind our Granville Street building, with additional street parking close by, so families travelling from across Grimsby or further afield shouldn't have any trouble. Our funeral home is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ground-floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, meaning everyone in your family can be present and comfortable during the arrangement meeting. We can accommodate up to eight people in our arrangement room, so you're welcome to bring whoever you need around you.
