Yes, we have a peaceful chapel of rest at our Guildford branch on Woodbridge Road where you're welcome to spend time with your loved one. Visiting can be an important part of saying goodbye, and we'll arrange appointments that suit your family, with as much time and privacy as you need. Our team will always be nearby if you'd like support, and we'll make sure everything is prepared with the utmost dignity and care.
The first step is to call us, and we'll guide you through everything from there. If your loved one has died at home, we'll arrange for them to be brought into our care at our Woodbridge Road funeral home. If they've died in hospital, we'll liaise with the ward staff and handle the transfer. Once they're with us, we'll sit down together to talk through your wishes and start planning the funeral at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
We arrange services that reflect your family's beliefs and traditions, whether religious, non-religious or somewhere in between. We work closely with local venues including St Johns Stoke, Emmanuel Church and St Marys Catholic Church, and we're experienced in coordinating with clergy, celebrants and faith leaders. Our team will listen to what's important to you and make sure every element of the service feels right for your loved one.
We work with Guildford Crematorium, Woking Crematorium, and Randalls & Aldershot, and we'll talk you through the options based on what matters most to your family. Some families prefer the closest location, while others choose a crematorium for its grounds or chapel style. We handle all the arrangements and timings with the crematorium directly, so you can focus on planning a meaningful service for your loved one.
We serve families throughout Guildford and the surrounding communities, including Godalming, Normandy and Chiddingfold. Since opening our Woodbridge Road funeral home in 2021, we've built strong connections across these areas and understand the local communities we support. Whether your family is based in Guildford town centre or one of the villages nearby, our team is here to help arrange everything with care.
