Our team at Quarry Street is here for families across Blantyre, Larkhall, Strathaven, and the wider Hamilton area. No matter where you are in South Lanarkshire, we will come to you and guide your family through every step of the arrangements. Distance is never a barrier to the care we provide.
We have many years of experience supporting Catholic families in Hamilton and the surrounding area, and we work regularly with Our Lady & St Anne's RC Church, St Peter's RC Church, and St Mary's RC Church. Whether your family follows a full Catholic Requiem Mass, a non-religious celebration of life, or a service from another tradition, our team will make sure every element is handled with respect and care. We are here to reflect what matters most to the person who died and to those who loved them.
You can call us at any time, day or night, and our team will be ready to help your family straight away, including arranging collection of your loved one from home, a hospital, or a care setting in Hamilton or beyond. We will talk you through the paperwork, including the medical certificate and registration of the death, so nothing feels confusing at such a difficult time. There is no need to have everything figured out before you call us; we will help you take it one step at a time.
We work closely with both South Lanarkshire Crematorium and Daldowie Crematorium, and our team will help you choose whichever feels right for your family. On the day itself, we take care of every detail, from the arrival of the cortège to liaising with crematorium staff, so your family can focus entirely on being together. We will talk you through what to expect beforehand so nothing feels unfamiliar or overwhelming.
Our funeral home on Quarry Street has a chapel of rest where families are welcome to spend quiet, private time with the person who has died. We also have our own service venue with space for up to 62 people, which can be a meaningful alternative to a church or crematorium for those who want something more intimate. We have on-site parking and full wheelchair access, so every family member can attend comfortably, and our team has been welcoming Hamilton families through our doors since 1980.
