Absolutely — we arrange funerals of every kind, whether that's a traditional religious service, a fully secular humanist ceremony, or something in between that simply reflects who your loved one was. Our arrangement room on Archerhill Road seats up to six people, giving your family a quiet, private space to talk through exactly what feels right. We work with celebrants and officiants of all backgrounds to make sure the service is a true reflection of the person who died.
When someone has died, our team is here around the clock, so you don't need to wait until morning to call us — we can arrange to bring your loved one into our care from their home, a hospital, or a care home in Knightswood or anywhere nearby at any time of day or night. Once your loved one is with us, there's no rush; paperwork and decisions can be taken at your pace and our team will walk you through everything step by step. The most important thing in those first hours is simply to call us, and we'll take it from there.
Yes, our team at Knightswood serves families across Scotstoun, Partick, Craigton and the wider Glasgow area, so wherever you are in the west of the city we can be with you. We're based on Archerhill Road and can travel to you to begin making arrangements, or you're welcome to visit us here. No family is too far for our care.
We have dedicated parking bays at the front of our funeral home on Archerhill Road, and there is additional street parking nearby, so visiting us shouldn't add any stress to your journey. Our premises are fully wheelchair accessible with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, meaning every member of your family can be with you when you sit down with our team. Whether you're coming from Knightswood itself, Clydebank, or Bishopbriggs, we'll make sure your visit is as straightforward and comfortable as possible.
A cremation service usually begins with a gathering at a chapel or ceremony venue of your choosing, where family and friends come together to mark your loved one's life — this might last around 30 to 45 minutes. Our team will guide you through every element beforehand, from the order of service to music and readings, so the day itself feels as calm and personal as possible. After the service, we handle all the arrangements with the crematorium on your behalf, and we'll talk you through the options for your loved one's ashes when the time feels right.
