We most often work with Lawnswood Crematorium and Rawdon Crematorium, and our team will talk you through both options so you can choose the one that feels right for your family. On the day itself, we take care of every detail of the journey from Harrogate Road to the crematorium, and one of our funeral directors will be with you throughout to make sure the service runs exactly as you have planned it.
There is a free car park nearby on Harrogate Road, as well as street parking close to the funeral home, so you should not have any difficulty finding a space when you visit us. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor, which makes access straightforward for anyone who finds stairs difficult, and we also have an accessible toilet on site — though please do note that the building does not currently have full wheelchair access, so if you have particular mobility needs, do call us in advance and we will do everything we can to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
You can call us at any time, day or night, and we will come to you whenever you need us — our team is available around the clock to bring your father into our care at the Harrogate Road funeral home. Once he is with us, there is no pressure to make decisions quickly; we will guide you gently through the paperwork and the choices ahead at whatever pace suits your family.
Absolutely — we work with families across Roundhay and the surrounding area who want a ceremony that reflects who their loved one truly was, whether that means a secular humanist service, a celebration of life, or something entirely personal. Our team will help you find the right officiant and shape a service that feels meaningful and fitting, with no requirement for a religious setting or format.
Yes, our team on Harrogate Road is very much here for families in Alwoodley, as well as Moortown, Chapel Allerton, Roundhay and Adel. If you are unsure whether we cover your particular street or postcode, please do give us a call and we will be happy to confirm straightaway.
