You do not need to have everything figured out before you call us — our team is here around the clock, and we can come to wherever your loved one has died, whether that is at home in Garforth, in Swillington, or anywhere nearby. Once we have brought them into our care, we will sit with you to talk through the next steps at a pace that suits your family, including the paperwork and registration, so nothing feels overwhelming.
Yes, our team covers Kippax as well as the surrounding areas including Swillington, Scholes, and Garforth itself. Wherever you are in the local area, we can come to you and take care of everything from the moment you call us, so your family does not need to travel far to find the support you need.
From our funeral home on Main Street, we most commonly use Pontefract Crematorium, Rawdon Crematorium, and Lawnswood Crematorium, and we will help you choose whichever feels right for your family. On the day, our team will guide the cortège to the crematorium, support your family throughout the service, and make sure everything runs as you have planned it, so you can focus entirely on saying goodbye.
We are experienced in arranging funerals of all kinds, whether that is a fully secular celebration of life, a traditional religious service, or something that blends elements of both to reflect who your loved one truly was. Our team at the Garforth funeral home will take time to understand what matters most to your family and build a service around that, at a venue of your choosing or elsewhere in the local area.
There is a free car park nearby on Main Street, which makes visiting us a little easier at what is already a difficult time. Our funeral home is fully accessible at ground level, with wheelchair access, an accessible toilet, and an arrangement room on the ground floor that comfortably seats up to four people, so every member of your family can be part of the conversation.
