You do not need to have everything figured out straight away — our team at the Pudsey funeral home on Lidget Hill is available around the clock, so you can call us at any hour and we will talk you through what needs to happen next. If your loved one has died at home, we can arrange for them to be brought into our care at a time that feels right for your family, and we will explain the paperwork and registration process step by step. You do not have to face any of it alone, and there is no rush to make every decision immediately.
Yes, our team on Lidget Hill covers Farsley, Bramley, Bradford, New Farnley and the surrounding areas, so wherever you are in this part of West Yorkshire we can be with you. We look after families across the whole of the Pudsey area and are here to help from the very first call, whenever you need us.
We work with three crematoriums — Rawdon, Lawnswood and Cottingley Hall — and our team will talk you through which might suit your family best in terms of location and what each one offers. On the day itself, we take care of everything from bringing your loved one to the crematorium through to supporting you as you arrive, so you can focus entirely on saying goodbye. We will guide you through the order of the service and make sure the day reflects the life of the person who died.
Absolutely — we arrange non-religious, humanist and secular funerals just as readily as traditional services, and our team on Lidget Hill will help you shape something that honestly reflects who your loved one was. Whether you have no connection to a faith or simply feel a more personal ceremony is right, we will work with you to find a celebrant or officiant who feels like the right fit. There is no single template, and we are used to helping families in Bramley, Farsley and beyond create services that feel genuine and meaningful.
Parking is straightforward — there are spaces directly outside the funeral home on Lidget Hill where you can stay for up to two hours free of charge, and if you need longer there is a free all-day car park just across the road, with its entrance next to Hays Travel. The building is all on the ground floor, fully wheelchair accessible, and we have an accessible toilet, so families do not need to worry about steps or difficult access at what is already a hard time. Our arrangement room accommodates up to six people, and we are always happy to discuss any particular needs before your visit.
