We arrange funerals across the full range of beliefs and traditions, including services at local churches such as St Chad's, St Michael's, Our Lady of Lourdes and St Urban's for families who would like a religious ceremony. For those who prefer a non-religious or celebrant-led farewell, we can help you find the right words and setting to reflect the life that was lived.
We work with Lawnswood, Cottingley Hall and Rawdon crematoriums, all of which are within a reasonable distance of our North Lane funeral home. On the day itself, our team will guide your family through every part of the service, from the arrival of the cortège to the committal, so you can focus entirely on being together and saying goodbye to the person who has died.
Yes, our team on North Lane covers Meanwood, Kirkstall, Adel and the wider Leeds area, so wherever you are in the neighbourhood, we are here for you. We are very familiar with the local roads and communities, and we will come to you when the time comes, no matter where in the area your loved one has died.
You do not need to have everything figured out straight away, and there is no single right way to begin. When you are ready, you can call our team at the North Lane funeral home at any time and we will talk you through bringing your dad into our care, as well as the paperwork that will need to follow in the coming days. We understand that the first hours after someone dies can feel overwhelming, and our role is simply to take as much of the practical weight from your family as we can.
There is street parking directly near our funeral home on North Lane, available for either two or four hours depending on the bay, which is usually enough time for a funeral arrangement meeting. A nearby paid car park is also an option if you would prefer not to watch the clock, and for anyone with mobility needs, our arrangement room is on the ground floor with full wheelchair access and an accessible toilet.
