W. A. Brown & Son, Llantwit Major
Pembroke House, College Street, Llantwit Major, CF61 1SG
We're a funeral home in the heart of Llantwit Major, serving the communities of Boverton, Llanmaes, St Athan and Wick since 1980. Our clients describe us as "patient, kind, and compassionate". These are words we live by every day as we strive to give everyone who comes to us the best experience possible when arranging a funeral.
The first thing we'll do at the arrangement meeting is listen to you. And whatever your religion, culture or heritage, we can help you arrange the right kind of funeral. We work with all the local places of worship and crematoriums, including St Illtud's Church, Bethel Baptist and Our Lady and St Illtyd Catholic Church and Coychurch, Cardiff and Glamorgan crematoriums. So whatever type of funeral you need to arrange, we can help you.

We work with Coychurch Crematorium, as well as Cardiff and Glamorgan, and our team will help you decide which is the right choice for your family. On the day, we manage the procession from wherever you are gathering, whether that is a family home in Llantwit Major or a local church such as St Illtud's, and accompany you through the service so that nothing is left to chance.
Yes, our team at W. A. Brown covers St Athan and the surrounding villages, including Boverton, Llanmaes, Wick, and Coychurch. Whether your family is based in Llantwit Major itself or in one of these nearby communities, we can come to you and guide you through every step of the arrangements.
When you are ready to call us, our team at W. A. Brown on College Street is here to help at any hour, and we can arrange to bring your loved one into our care from their home, a hospital, or a care home in the Llantwit Major area. We will talk you through the paperwork, explain what needs to happen and when, and make sure you never feel as though you are navigating this alone.
We arrange funerals across the full spectrum of beliefs, from services held at Our Lady and St Illtyd Catholic Church or Bethel Baptist to entirely non-religious celebrations of life. Whatever your family's wishes, our team will work closely with you to make sure the service reflects the person who has died in a way that feels right and meaningful.
We have one on-site parking space at our funeral home on College Street, and if you need more room there is free parking available behind Llantwit Major Town Hall and at Llantwit Major Shopping Precinct, both a short walk away. Our arrangement rooms are on the ground floor, and we have full wheelchair access and an accessible toilet, so please do not hesitate to let us know in advance if there is anything specific we can do to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
