Yes, our team on Kidgate in Louth covers a wide area including Grimoldby, Manby, Horncastle, and North Thoresby, so wherever you are in the surrounding countryside, we can come to you. We are familiar with the roads and communities across this part of Lincolnshire, and we will take care of every detail so your family does not have to worry about distance or logistics.
We work closely with local clergy and faith communities throughout the area, including at St James' Church of England and St Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Louth, and we are experienced in arranging services that honour specific religious traditions with care and respect. If your family has particular prayers, readings, or rituals that matter to you, our team will make sure these are woven into the day exactly as you wish.
Depending on your family's wishes and circumstances, we work with crematoriums in Alford, Grimsby, and Boston, each of which offers a different setting and feel for the day. Our team will talk you through what each involves, from the arrival of the procession to the time allocated for the service, so you can choose the one that feels right and know exactly what to expect.
You can call our funeral home on Kidgate at any time, day or night, and our team will guide you through those first difficult hours, including arranging the collection of your loved one and talking you through the paperwork that will be needed in the days ahead. You do not need to have any decisions ready when you call, and if you are not sure where to start, we will take you through everything gently at whatever pace suits your family.
We have three on-site parking spaces at our Kidgate funeral home, and there is also a payable car park at the end of the road if you need additional space when the family gathers. Our building is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so everyone in your family can be comfortable and included during what we know is an already difficult time.
