We work with Manchester Crematorium, Dukinfield Crematorium, Stockport Crematorium, and Blackley Crematorium, and we'll help you choose whichever feels right for your family. On the day itself, our team will take care of every detail — from the journey there to guiding your family through the service — so you can focus entirely on being together and saying goodbye. We'll talk you through exactly what to expect when we meet to make the arrangements.
We have a close working relationship with Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, St James Church of England Church, and Brookfield Unitarian Church, and we're experienced in coordinating services at all three. Whether your family follows a particular faith tradition or you'd prefer a non-religious ceremony, our team will work around your wishes and handle all the communication with the venue on your behalf. Every funeral we arrange is shaped by what matters most to the people who loved the person who died.
We have eight on-site parking spaces, including designated disabled parking, and there is also free on-street parking available past the double yellow lines on Hyde Road. Our funeral home is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ground-floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so visiting us is straightforward whatever your mobility needs. If you're coming from Gorton or the surrounding area and are unsure about finding us, our team is always happy to help you with directions.
We're very happy to help families in Denton, and we serve a wide area that includes Gorton, West Gorton, Reddish, Longsight, and Openshaw as well. Our team on Hyde Road has been caring for local families since 1925, so wherever you are in the surrounding area, you're very much within our reach. Please don't hesitate to call us — we're here whenever you need us.
You can call us at any time — day or night — and our team on Hyde Road will talk you through everything calmly and without any rush. We can arrange to come and care for the person who has died, and once they're in our care at the chapel of rest, there's no pressure to make any decisions immediately. We'll walk alongside you through the paperwork and practical steps, making sure nothing feels overwhelming.
