When someone dies in Farnworth or anywhere in our local area, you can call our Cheethams funeral home on Bolton Road at any time, day or night, and our team will be there to help straight away. We can arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care and will walk you through what happens next, including the paperwork and any steps that need to be taken before arrangements can begin, so you never have to feel alone in those first difficult hours.
Our Cheethams funeral home on Bolton Road serves families across Little Hulton, Walkden, Worsley, Swinton, and Farnworth, so wherever you are in the area, our team is here to help. We know how important it is to have local support at such a difficult time, and we are proud to have been caring for families in and around Little Hulton since 1980.
When arranging a cremation through our Cheethams funeral home, we work with four local crematoriums, including Agecroft, Peel Green, Overdale, and Howebridge, and we will talk through each option with your family so you can choose the one that feels right. On the day itself, our team will guide the procession and be with you throughout, making sure everything runs smoothly so you can focus on saying goodbye to your loved one.
There is a small free public car park at the side of our Bolton Road building, and street parking is also available nearby, so families coming to us from across Worsley and the wider area should find it straightforward to reach us. Our funeral home is fully wheelchair accessible with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so everyone in your family is able to join us comfortably when we sit down together to make arrangements.
We have longstanding experience arranging both Catholic and Church of England funerals for families in Swinton and the surrounding communities, and we are happy to liaise directly with your chosen church or officiant on your behalf. Whatever traditions or rituals are important to your family, our team at Cheethams will take the time to understand your wishes and make sure the service reflects your faith and your loved one's life.
