8-11 Sherwood Parade, Kirklington Road, Mansfield, NG21 0JP
We're a well‑established funeral home in Rainworth, and proudly part of Co‑op Funeralcare since 2010. We're dedicated to giving you and your family the care and support you need when arranging a funeral, whether you live in Blidworth, Farnsfield, Bilsthorpe or Edwinstowe. We're here to help.
We will be led by you in making the funeral arrangements. We will listen as you tell us about who they were and what feels right for them. Then we will use our established relationships with local places of worship and crematoriums in the area, like St Michael's, St Mary's and Rainworth Methodist to create the funeral that feels right.
If you need us, get in touch. You'll be greeted with a warm welcome, a friendly face and the promise of a cup of tea when we meet at our comfortable funeral home on Kirklington Road.

Absolutely — we arrange both religious and non-religious services, and our team will follow your family's wishes whatever they may be. We work with celebrants who can lead a completely personal, secular service, as well as with the clergy at St Mary's and St Michael's for families who would like a faith-based farewell. The important thing is that the service reflects the person who died, and we will help you shape something that feels right.
Please do not hesitate to call us, even in the early hours, as our team is available around the clock to take your call and begin helping straight away. One of the first things we can do is come and bring your father into our care, which many families find brings them a sense of calm at an otherwise overwhelming moment. When you are ready, we will sit down with you at our arrangement room on Kirklington Road in Rainworth, where we can go through the paperwork and begin planning at a pace that suits you.
Our funeral home on Kirklington Road has limited street parking at the front, and there is a free car park directly behind us, so you should have no difficulty finding somewhere to stop. The building is fully wheelchair accessible with a ground floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, meaning every member of your family can be with you when we meet to make arrangements. Our arrangement room can comfortably seat four people, so please let us know in advance if your family group is larger and we will do our best to accommodate everyone.
Yes, our team covers Edwinstowe and the surrounding villages, so distance need not be a worry at such a difficult time. We also serve families in Blidworth, Bilsthorpe, Farnsfield, New Ollerton and beyond, all from our funeral home on Kirklington Road in Rainworth. Whatever your location, we will come to you and make sure everything is handled with care.
On the day, our team will bring your loved one into the service venue — such as St Michael's or Rainworth Methodist — at the agreed time, and the service itself typically lasts between twenty and forty minutes depending on what your family has chosen. Afterwards, we guide you through what happens next with the cremated remains, whether that means a keepsake urn, a scattering at a meaningful place, or something entirely personal to your family. We talk everything through with you in advance so there are no surprises on the day, and our team is with you every step of the way.
