On the day of a cremation service, our team will collect your loved one and bring them to the service venue before accompanying them to Kirkleatham Memorial Park, which many families in the Marske area choose for cremations. You can expect a service tailored entirely to reflect the life of the person who died, with as much or as little ceremony as feels right, and our team will guide you through every moment so you are never left uncertain about what comes next. Afterwards, we will talk you through your options for the ashes and any further wishes your family may have.
When someone has died, you can call us at any time — day or night — and our team will come to bring your loved one into our care from wherever they are in the Marske, Redcar, or Saltburn area. Once your loved one is safely with us in our chapel of rest on The Wynd, we can take the time pressure off you and talk through the paperwork and next steps at a pace that suits your family, usually in our arrangement room which has room for up to eight people.
We work closely with a number of local churches and venues, including St Mark's, Marske Methodist, St Bede's, and Our Lady of Lourdes, so whether your family has a particular faith tradition or a long-standing connection to one of these congregations, we can arrange everything on your behalf. Our team will liaise directly with the clergy or celebrant to ensure the service truly reflects what matters to you and honours the person who died.
There is a free car park to the rear of our funeral home on The Wynd, with dedicated disabled bays and electric vehicle charging points, so getting to us should be as straightforward as possible during what is already a difficult time. Our building is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ground-floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, meaning everyone in your family can be comfortable when they visit us or meet with our team.
Yes, our team at Marske serves families across Saltburn, New Marske, Redcar, and the wider Teesside area, so wherever you are in the region, we are here for you. Our funeral home on The Wynd is a short distance away and we will come to you when you need us most, handling every detail with care from the very beginning.
