We regularly work with local churches and venues across the area, including St Mary's the Virgin Church in Nunthorpe, St Mary's Cathedral in Coulby Newham, and Marton Methodist Church, so we know these places well. Whether your family has a longstanding connection to a particular congregation or you're looking for a setting that simply feels right, our team will liaise directly with the minister or officiant on your behalf. We can also arrange non-religious and humanist services if that better reflects the life of the person who died.
Our team on Stokesley Road is available to take your call at any time, day or night — you never need to wait until morning to reach us. Once you're ready, we will arrange for your loved one to be brought gently into our care, whether they have died at home, in hospital, or in a care setting in Marton or the surrounding area. We can also talk you through the paperwork that needs to be completed and help you understand what needs to happen and in what order, so you're not left trying to work it out alone.
On the day of a cremation, our team will bring your loved one to the chosen venue — such as St Cuthbert's in Marton or Marton Methodist Church — before the committal takes place at the crematorium. Services typically last around 20 to 30 minutes, and we will walk alongside your family throughout, ensuring everything runs to the time you've been given. Afterwards, we can advise you on receiving the ashes and any memorialisation options that feel right for your family.
There is a car park directly in front of our funeral home on Stokesley Road offering two hours' free parking, with additional street parking nearby as well. The building is fully accessible at ground level, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a ground-floor arrangement room, and an accessible toilet, so families with mobility needs can attend without difficulty. Our arrangement room comfortably accommodates up to five people, giving you a calm and private space to make decisions at your own pace.
Yes, our team on Stokesley Road serves families across Nunthorpe, Marton, Coulby Newham, Hemlington, Marton Manor, and the wider Teesside area including Kirkleatham and Stockton. Wherever you are in the surrounding area, we can come to you and care for your loved one from the very first call. You don't need to travel far to access the support and guidance our team provides.
