Absolutely — we arrange all kinds of services, whether that is a traditional religious ceremony, a humanist celebration of life, or something entirely personal that does not fit a particular label. Our team at Maryhill Road will listen carefully to what feels right for your family and help you shape a service that truly honours the person who died. There are no expectations here, only care.
When someone dies, you can call us at any time of day or night and our team will come to you, wherever you are in the Maryhill or Springburn area. We will bring your loved one into our care on Maryhill Road and, once you are ready, sit with you in our arrangement room to talk through the next steps at whatever pace suits your family. You do not need to have any answers before you call us — that is what we are here for.
Yes, our team on Maryhill Road is here for families across Ruchill, Possilpark, Springburn, Bishopbriggs and the wider Glasgow area. We understand that when someone you love has died, the last thing you want is uncertainty about whether help is available to you, so please do reach out and we will take care of everything from there.
On the day of a cremation, our team will bring your loved one into the service in a dignified procession, and families can expect a ceremony that reflects the person who has died — whether that means music, readings, or simply a quiet moment together. We can hold the service here at our Maryhill Road funeral home, which has space for up to 50 people, before accompanying your family to the crematorium. We will guide you through every part of the day so that you are never left wondering what comes next.
There is street parking available on Maryhill Road itself, right outside our funeral home, so families travelling to us from Possilpark, Bishopbriggs or further afield should find it straightforward to reach us. Our building is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ground-floor arrangement room and an accessible toilet, so everyone in your family can be with you during what is a very difficult time.
