Our team has longstanding experience arranging funerals for Hindu, Sikh, Jewish, Roman Catholic, and Christian families, as well as people from many other cultures and countries. We understand that the rituals, timings, and traditions surrounding death differ profoundly between communities, and we take real care to get those details right. Whether a service is held at St Mary Magdalene Church, All Saints Church, or at a specialist venue further afield, we will work closely with your family and any religious or community leaders to honour your loved one in the way that truly reflects their life.
We work with several crematoriums depending on your family's wishes and circumstances, including Crownhill, Oakfield Gardens, Bierton, and Aylesbury Vale Crematorium. On the day, our team will travel with your loved one and be present throughout, so you never have to navigate an unfamiliar place alone. We will explain exactly what to expect at whichever crematorium you choose, from the moment you arrive to the committal itself, so your family can focus on being together.
Yes, our team at Stony Stratford Funeralcare JSCowley & Sons is very much here for families in Deanshanger, and we also regularly support people in Old Stratford, Calverton, Passenham, and Wicken. Wherever you are in the surrounding area, we can come to you and guide your family through every step at whatever pace feels right. You only need to call us and we will take care of everything from there.
Please do call us straightaway, any time of day or night, and we will gently talk you through everything that needs to happen in those early hours. Our team can arrange for your mother to be brought into our care at 71 High Street Stony Stratford, and we will advise you on the paperwork and registration process so nothing feels overwhelming. You do not need to have any decisions made before you call - simply reaching out to us is enough to set everything in motion.
JSCowley & Sons has been serving families from this community since 1836, making us one of the longest-established funeral homes in the Stony Stratford area, and we have remained rooted on the High Street throughout. When you visit us, there are four on-site spaces, and limited free street parking is available at the front of the funeral home as well as at the rear via Chapel Street. Our premises are fully accessible at ground floor level, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a ground floor arrangement room, and an accessible toilet, so every member of your family is welcome.
