Our funeral home in Benwell has been serving the local community since the 1980s. During that time, we've come to know and love our local area well. You’ll need to pay 50% of the funeral cost within 2 days of making the arrangements and the rest after the funeral has taken place.

You can pay in full, spread the cost over 6 or 12 months with no additional costs or monthly instalments over 2–25 years (2-5 years for Direct Cremation). There's an additional instalment charge when paying over 2-25 years and age restrictions apply.

We work closely with local places of worship such as St Bede's Benwell and can help co-ordinate ceremonies that reflect your family's faith and cultural values. We'll take time to listen and make sure every detail is handled with the respect it deserves.
Benwell House has its own on-site car park with 35 spaces, including designated disabled parking bays, so families coming from Denton Burn or West Denton can arrive without worrying about finding a space. The building is fully wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet and a ground floor arrangement room, meaning you won't need to manage stairs at what is already a difficult time. Street parking is also available nearby if you need additional spaces for larger groups.

We're available to take your call and there's no pressure to make any decisions straight away. Once your loved one is in our care, we can walk you through the paperwork and next steps at whatever pace feels right for your family.
We work with West Road Crematorium, which serves families from across the west of Newcastle including those coming from Fenham and Blakelaw. On the day, our team will guide the funeral procession to the crematorium and remain with your family throughout the service to offer support. We'll handle all the arrangements with the crematorium in advance so that the day itself feels as calm and meaningful as possible.
