We will be led by you in making the funeral arrangements. We will listen as you tell us about who they were and what feels right for them. One of the most immediate things we can do is arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care from wherever they have died, whether that is at home, in hospital, or at a care facility in Edinburgh or the surrounding area. From there, we will guide you through the paperwork and registration process at your own pace, so nothing feels rushed or overwhelming.

We work with four local crematoriums — Mortonhall, Warriston, Seafield, and East Lothian Crematorium — and we will help you choose the one that feels right for your family. On the day, our team will arrive to accompany your loved one and guide the funeral cortège to the crematorium, staying with your family throughout the service. Each of these crematoriums has its own character and setting, and we are happy to talk you through what to expect at any of them.
We are experienced in arranging all kinds of funerals, whether that means a fully secular celebration of life, a humanist ceremony, or a traditional religious service at a local church such as Newington Trinity Church, Richmond Craigmillar Church, or Liberton Kirk. We will listen carefully to what matters most to your family and work with whichever officiant or celebrant reflects your wishes. Our funeral home on South Clerk Street has street parking nearby, though please be aware that during office hours the surrounding streets are metered, so it is worth having some change or a parking app ready when you visit. The arrangement room is on the ground floor and we have wheelchair access, making it straightforward for anyone with mobility needs to come in comfortably. Our arrangement room comfortably seats up to five people, so you are welcome to bring close family members with you when we sit down together to make plans.
