Yes, we cover Chudleigh and the surrounding communities, including the Teign Valley, South Dartmoor, Kingskerswell, and Newton Abbot. Our team at Imperial Buildings in Kingsteignton has been helping families across this part of Devon since 1990, so wherever you are in the area, we are here to support you. Please do get in touch and we will talk through everything at a pace that suits your family.
There is street parking available close to our Imperial Buildings funeral home, and dedicated spaces can be found on Captains Road, Exeter Road, and Franeth Close, so getting to us should be straightforward for most families. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building has full wheelchair access and an accessible toilet, meaning everyone in your family is welcome and comfortable. We keep our arrangement room to a small, unhurried group of up to six people, which reflects our belief that these conversations deserve quiet, personal attention.
We regularly arrange services at St Michael's Church in Kingsteignton, and we work with a number of other local churches as well, including All Saints Church in Highweek, St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Newton Abbot, the URC Church in Newton Abbot, and the Methodist Church in Newton Abbot. Whether your family has a particular place of worship in mind or you would like our guidance, we will make sure the service reflects what matters most to you. Our team has longstanding relationships with local clergy and faith communities, which means the arrangements are handled with real care and familiarity.
For families in Newton Abbot and the surrounding area, we most commonly use Torquay Crematorium, though we also work with Exeter and Devon Crematorium and East Devon Crematorium depending on your wishes and availability. On the day, our team will guide the procession and be with you every step of the way, from leaving Kingsteignton through to the committal, so your family never feels alone in an unfamiliar place. We are happy to explain exactly what to expect at whichever crematorium feels right for you.
We are available to take your call at any time, and one of our team will talk you through the immediate steps calmly and without any pressure. If you need us to come and bring your loved one into our care from somewhere in the Teign Valley or Newton Abbot area, we can arrange that as soon as you are ready. You do not need to have any decisions made before you contact us, and nothing needs to happen before you feel prepared, so please reach out whenever you need us.
