We will be led by you in making the funeral arrangements. We will listen as you tell us about who they were and what feels right for them. Then we will use our established relationships with local places of worship and crematoriums in the area, like St Mary Magdalene Church in Keyworth, Keyworth Methodist Church and St Margaret Clitherow Roman Catholic Parish Church in Keyworth to create the funeral that feels right.

Questions and answers

We regularly work with the churches here in Keyworth, including St Mary Magdalene Church, Keyworth Methodist Church, Keyworth United Reformed Church, and St Margaret Clitherow Roman Catholic Parish Church, so a church service is absolutely something we can arrange. Many families choose to hold a service at one of these churches before travelling on to a crematorium or burial, and we will coordinate everything so your family does not have to worry about the logistics. Whatever reflects your loved one's beliefs or your family's wishes, we are here to help make it happen.

We are so sorry your family is going through this, and we want you to know our team is here whenever you need us — day or night. You do not need to have everything figured out before you call; many families ring us from Kinoulton, Hickling, or Long Clawson not knowing where to begin, and we gently walk you through each step, including collecting your loved one and helping with the necessary paperwork. Just call us and we will take it from there so your family can focus on being together.

We work with several crematoriums depending on your family's wishes and location, including Rushcliffe Oaks, Wilford Hill, Bramcote, Gedling, Loughborough, and Gilroes. On the day, our team will travel with your loved one and guide the family through the service, whether that is a traditional cremation service with hymns and readings or something quieter and more personal. We will talk you through which crematorium feels right and what to expect from the moment you arrive.

Yes, our team on Wolds Drive covers a wide area across the local villages, including Cotgrave, Cropwell Bishop, Tollerton, Plumtree, and many communities stretching out towards the Wolds. Whether your family is in Wysall, Widmerpool, or anywhere in between, we can come to you and support you every step of the way. Please do get in touch and we will talk through how we can help.

Parking is straightforward — there is unrestricted free parking in the car park just outside our funeral home on Wolds Drive, and if that is busy, the Co-op Food store on the opposite side of the road has a small car park, with a free council car park tucked behind it as well. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building has wheelchair access, so we have thought carefully about making every visit as easy as possible for all members of your family. If you have any specific accessibility needs before you visit, please do let us know and we will make sure everything is ready for you.
