Absolutely. We arrange funerals that reflect what mattered to the person who's died, whether that's a traditional church service, a non-religious celebration of life, or something in between. We work closely with local venues including churches and the Reform Church in Arnold, and we're experienced in creating ceremonies that honour different beliefs and backgrounds. Our role is to listen to what you need and make sure the funeral feels personal and meaningful to your family.
We serve families right across Arnold and the surrounding communities, including Daybrook, Sherwood and Calverton. Our team are locals ourselves, so we know these neighbourhoods well and understand the churches, crematoriums and venues that matter to families here. Whether you're in the heart of Arnold on High Street or further out towards Calverton, we're here to help you arrange a funeral that feels right for your loved one.
The first step is simply to give us a call at our Arnold branch on High Street, and we'll guide you through everything from there. If your loved one has died at home, we'll arrange to bring them into our care straight away. If they've passed away in hospital, we'll liaise with the hospital staff and collect them when you're ready. There's no pressure and no rush, we're here to take the practical weight off your shoulders so you can focus on your family.
We work with Gedling Crematorium, Bramcote Crematorium and Mansfield Crematorium, so you can choose the location that works best for your family. Each crematorium has its own character and facilities, and we'll talk you through the options based on where your loved one lived or where family members are travelling from. We coordinate everything with the crematorium directly, from booking the time slot to arranging any music or readings you'd like included in the service.
Yes, we do have a chapel of rest here at our Arnold branch where you can spend time with your loved one in a peaceful, private setting. It's somewhere quiet away from the bustle of High Street, and you're welcome to visit as often as you need to during the days leading up to the funeral. Many families find it comforting to say goodbye in their own time, and our team will arrange visits around what works best for you.
