Yes, our Aspley funeral home is here for families across Bilborough, Broxtowe, Strelley, Wollaton, Old Basford, and the surrounding areas. We know these communities well, and our team will come to you wherever you are. You don't need to worry about whether you're close enough, if you're in any doubt, just give us a call and we'll let you know how we can help.
We have experience arranging funerals that honour a wide range of traditions, including Afro-Caribbean, Sikh, and Hindu ceremonies, as well as services held at local venues such as Mansfield Road Baptist Church, St Margaret's, and St Teresa's. Whether your family follows a specific faith, prefers a non-religious farewell, or has particular cultural wishes, our team will listen carefully and make sure the service truly reflects the life that was lived. Nothing is too much to ask, and we'll work with any religious leaders or community representatives who are important to your family.
Our team works regularly with Wilford Hill, Bramcote, and Gedling crematoriums, so we know each one well and can help your family choose the setting that feels right. On the day, we'll guide you through everything, from the arrival of the cortège to the committal, so you can focus entirely on being together and honouring your loved one. We'll have spoken with the crematorium in advance to make sure every detail is in place, and one of our team will be with you throughout.
We're available around the clock, so whenever you need us, whether it's the middle of the night or early on a weekend morning, you can call our Aspley funeral home and someone will answer. Once you're ready, we can arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care from home, a hospital, or a care facility in areas like Wollaton or Old Basford, and we'll explain each step of the paperwork as we go. There's no need to have everything figured out before you call; our team will gently walk you through what needs to happen and at a pace that suits you.
Our Aspley Lane funeral home has a chapel of rest where you and your family are welcome to visit your loved one in a quiet, private setting, as many times as you need. The building is fully wheelchair accessible, and we have on-site parking, so you won't need to worry about finding a space when you arrive. We've been part of this community since 1980, and creating a space where families feel comfortable and cared for has always been at the heart of what we do.
