Our funeral home in Leeds has been serving the local community since 1950. During that time, we've come to know and love our local area well. We cover areas in and around Leeds, including Ilkley, Guiseley, Aireborough and Ben Rhydding. We're here to give you a friendly, reliable and sensitively planned funeral service at your time of need.

We know all the local churches, places of worship and crematoriums, including Otley Parish Church, Otley Methodist Church and All Saints Parish Church in Ilkley and Rawdon, Lawnswood and Shay Grange crematoriums. We can also help you find a friendly funeral celebrant or religious leader to take the service.

You’ll need to pay 50% of the funeral cost within 2 days of making the arrangements and the rest after the funeral has taken place.

Whether your family has a strong faith tradition or you are looking for something more reflective and personal, we will help you find the right setting and work closely with the minister or celebrant to create a meaningful service.
We work with three crematoriums — Rawdon, Lawnswood, and Shay Grange — and we will talk you through which might suit your family best depending on location, timing, and the kind of service you have in mind. On the day itself, our team guides everything from the moment we leave Cross Green, so you can focus entirely on saying goodbye rather than worrying about the arrangements.
Our team at Cross Green is here whenever you need us, day or night, so please do not hesitate to call even if it is the middle of the night. We can arrange to bring your loved one into our care from home, a hospital, or a care home in areas such as Aireborough or across Leeds, and once that is done we will guide you gently through the paperwork and next steps at a pace that feels right for your family.
We have six on-site parking spaces at our Cross Green funeral home, and there is also street parking nearby, though please be aware that some street spaces in the area require a permit. We want to mention that our arrangement room is not currently on the ground floor and we do not have a wheelchair-accessible toilet, so if anyone in your family has mobility needs, please do call us ahead of your visit so we can talk through how best to support you.
